A New Name

I have been pondering a good name for my new blog and a possible business.  I have been asking friends and family to tell me what image or feeling they got when I said the name "Dragonfly Mystique."  I did get a few who said they thought of bugs, but most said they saw changing colors, shimmering wings, magical, changeable, beautiful and colorful.  That pretty much describes most of the things I make, lol.  Hopefully I will be able to post my photos on here soon and really get things going.  I'm not usually the type of person who puts everything into writing, and I tend to get busy with things that need to be done and forget to post.  I will try to resolve myself to really keep up on this one.  Please bear with me as I start on this new adventure and welcome to any and all followers.

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!! Have been outside bbq ing all day and playing with the new puppy. She was originally named Speckles, but everyone was having trouble with the name and the puppy wouldn't answer to it. We finally decided to change it this morning to Pepper. It still works with her coloring and she actually responds to it!! She just didn't like Speckles I guess, lol.

I really need to get up to my craft area and finish cleaning so I can get back to creating. I was working on some clear stones with Gallery Glass over stamped images last night. I saw it demonstrated at a recent stamp show I went to by Buggawumps. I thought they were so cute, so I stopped in at Michael's this week and picked up 3 colors of Gallery Glass and some large, flat, clear garden stones. I will get some photos posted soon.

My first post

Hi everyone!! My name is Teresa. This is my first blog, so please be patient as I try to figure out what I'm doing, lol. I am a mother of four beautiful children who LOVES crafting. Creating--whether it's cardmaking, stamping, scrapping, jewelry, sewing, cross stitch or any other form of creative expression--is what I do to relieve stress. I love trying new things and have a tendency to surf the web searching for new ideas and techniques to try.

I want to use this blog to share some of my projects, and maybe inspire others to try something new. I can't guarantee that I will be able to blog on a regular basis, but I will try to post as often as possible. I hope you enjoy it!
